My Spirit Quest so to speak begins in t-minus 14 days. I am packing my bag and my mat and heading south to the comforts of the Nicaraguan sun to embrace endure and enjoy 21 days of Yoga. Upon completion of my 21 day Yoga teacher training at the eco resort "Los Cadrones" located on the pacific side of the Nicaraguan Coast I will be a Yoga Alliance Certified Vinyasa Yoga Teacher.
This morning when I woke up and looked at the calendar to realize that its October 1st. I had one of those big gulp feelings (no not the kind you get from 7/11). I feel like in that big gulp I swallowed alot of different emotions, ranging from excitement to fear, to still not even really comprehending that I have once again made something that seemed so impossible, possible in my life.
Two things to mention as side notes on the previous statement.
1. Recently I have been informed that their are only two emotions in life. Fear & Love Everything we do is either out of fear or love. If we are angry its because we are afraid, if we are grumpy or discontent its due to fear. Same goes for love, if we are happy, glad, excited well its straight out of love! So to say the least im really truly in love with this exciting new journey im headed on.
2. In The Yoga Sutras it is stated that Yoga makes the seemingly impossible, possible. So the very fact that I have pulled it together to make this trip happen is proof alone that really anything is possible and I am so excited to see what other mountains I can climb, or impossible battles I can feat!
Anyways back to the big gulp. I suppose the concept of having this adventure in such close grasp has brought me to the thought about what happens after. I have a tendency to get so wrapped up in whats going on that I forget to look to the future. Thus far it has served me well so maybe I should quit being such a planner....... The whole name of the game these days is living in the present right? But just in case you wanted to plan with me, stay tuned as I will be coming home with lots of news including a schedule of where you can come and practise yoga with me!
Much love to whoever you are thats reading this old thang.
xx
